Who runs Ovanori
Ovanori is run by Sady Doucouré, a sole proprietorship registered in Quebec (NEQ 2277553931).

For a question about these terms, write to the address at the bottom of this page. For a question about your personal information, write to privacy@ovanori.com (see the privacy policy).
What Ovanori does
Ovanori is a discovery and booking platform. It lets a salon publish a public page with its services and opening hours, and lets a client book a slot.
Ovanori is not a party to the contract between a salon and its client. The service itself, its price, how it is carried out and any refund are the salon's responsibility alone. We provide no hairdressing, barbering or beauty service.
Your account
An account belongs to one person. You agree to give accurate information and keep it up to date, in particular your email address: confirmations and reminders travel through it.
Until your email address is confirmed, you can only have one upcoming appointment, and you can neither save a card nor pay online. The confirmation link can be sent again from the booking screen. An account opened with Google or Apple is confirmed straight away.
You must be of legal age, or have a guardian's permission. You are responsible for keeping your password private and for what is done from your account.
What the salon agrees to
The salon publishes accurate services, durations, prices and opening hours, and honours the appointments it accepts. It warns its clients as soon as it must cancel or move one.
The salon only publishes gallery content that is lawful, that it holds the rights to, and that shows no one without their consent.
A reported photo or review may be hidden by our moderation team after review. Hiding is not deleting: the content stays in the salon's own space, and only the salon can erase it.
What the client agrees to
To show up for a booked appointment, or cancel it: free of charge within the notice period shown on the salon's page, and still online until the appointment time, with the consequences below. Repeated no-shows may lead a salon to refuse further bookings.
Some salons ask for a card to book online. Nothing is charged at booking. If the client cancels after the notice period, or doesn't show up without cancelling, the salon may charge the no-show fee shown before booking. The fee is collected by the salon, on its own Stripe account: Ovanori is not a party to this payment and receives nothing from it. Refunds are requested from the salon.
Some salons ask for a deposit, or full payment, when booking. If the client cancels within the notice period shown by the salon, the amount paid is refunded in full; after that, or if they don't show up, the salon keeps it. If the salon cancels, the client is always refunded. The payment is collected by the salon, on its own Stripe account: Ovanori receives nothing from it.
A review may only be left after an appointment that actually took place. It must be honest and about the service received, with no abusive or defamatory wording and no personal data about anyone else.
Subscription and payment
A salon's access is free for the trial period shown on the pricing page, with no card required. After the trial, the subscription is monthly, with no commitment, and can be cancelled at any time from the billing portal.
Payments are handled by Stripe. No card data ever passes through or is stored by Ovanori.
Without payment, the salon's public page stops being visible and booking closes. Nothing is erased: services, hours, appointments and reviews are kept and become visible again as soon as payment resumes.
Your content
The salon remains the owner of the photos and text it publishes. It grants us the right to display them on its public page, in the directory and in search engine results, for as long as they are published and for that purpose only.
Deleting your account
A client or a staff member deletes their own account from the “My account” page, confirming with their password or by signing in again with Google or Apple. An email confirms the deletion. Their upcoming appointments are cancelled free of charge, and anything paid in advance is refunded. A staff member then leaves their salon.
A salon owner's account carries a subscription, a public page, a team and its clients' appointments: its deletion is requested in writing at the address at the bottom of this page. The subscription is then cancelled immediately, with no prorated refund for the current period; the public page is removed and its address is never given to another salon; upcoming appointments are cancelled, and each client is notified and refunded anything paid in advance.
What deletion erases and what it keeps is described in the privacy policy.
Suspension
An account may be suspended for a breach of these terms, fraudulent use, or clearly unlawful content. Suspension closes open sessions and hides the public profile. It is notified by email and can be lifted.
Liability
The service is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it available, without guaranteeing continuous availability or freedom from error.
We cannot be held liable for a salon's service, a missed appointment, or indirect damage. Nothing here limits a liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the law applicable in Quebec, Canada. We look for an amicable solution first: write to us, we answer.
